Motorcycle, Class 6A
$1,249 plus taxes
From the closed course to the road, including preparation for the SAAQ test.
- 6 h of theory, 16 h on a closed course, 10 h on the road
- Classes completed in six to eight weeks
- Class 6R, then 6A learner's licence
Scooter, moped
$349 plus taxes
The mandatory course to ride a moped, open from age 14.
- 3 h of theory and 3 h of practice
- 6 hours in total

Frequently asked questions
How old do I have to be to register?
You can register and start the theory classes five weeks before you turn 16. You get your learner's licence at 16, once phase 1 is complete. For the scooter, you can start at 14.
How long does the car course take?
Thirteen months at minimum. After you get your learner's licence, you have to wait ten months before the SAAQ theory test and twelve months before the road test.
Is the theory online or in class?
Both are available. Online, you go through the interactive modules at your own pace. In class, you take the course at the school with an instructor.
Do I have to pay everything at once?
No. The car program is paid in several instalments spread over the course, interest-free. Credit, debit and cash are accepted.
How many on-road sessions are included?
Fifteen sessions of 55 minutes, spread over phases 2, 3 and 4. Refresher sessions are available if you want more practice.
Do you offer motorcycle and scooter courses?
Yes. The motorcycle program includes 6 hours of theory, 16 hours on a closed course and 10 hours on the road, and is usually completed in six to eight weeks. The scooter program includes 3 hours of theory and 3 hours of practice, from age 14.
